Nobody wanted a settlers 2 remake. Also from what I have read, it was buggy, not good. Maybe if the DS game was modeled after Settlers 3 maybe, or maybe even settlers 4. The settlers 3 was amazing, and easy to learn how to play, a great start in consul gaming. The settlers 4 added a bit more of a challenge but would still have been better.
