People have been underestimating the Wii for way too long. IGN and Ubisoft let loose some new Red Steel screens and they are simply stunning. The 2 pics that are screens of what the map are going to look like are simply amazing. The one that’s in game looks amazing itself just needs a few touching up but overall it looks as good as any launch 360 titles released a year ago. Check out the 3 screens here:
Gosh and that’s simply incredible looking. For those skeptical all that you see is what the final version is supposed to look like and if you watched the trailer of it from the Wii event it represents that quite well. Right now Ubisoft is doing the touching up on the game and it’s going to look as good as those screens. Especially that 3rd one of the room. Simply amazing. This game has the controls the storyline and the graphics to make one of the best FPS at a launch since Halo. If only we could get online but hey Halo didn’t have online. We’ll have to wait for that through download but Red Steel is going to be a must buy for any Wii buyer this holiday season.

Halo was made 5 years ago, and the textures(or severe lack therof), lack of AA, and poor character models make Red Steel look horrible. PGR3, Condemned, COD2 all blow Red Steel out of the water in visuals, and not only that, they’re all in glorious High Definition.

Not bad. Better than before.
